Your Personal Branding Photo Shoot Guide
Yay! You’ve booked your session and have a vague idea of the photos you’d like to capture on the day. Here’s some focussed points to help you achieve the best from your session, maximise the potential content obtained and boost your brand!
Where?
Chances are you already have somewhere in mind for your personal branding photo shoot. Whether you have a home office or workspace, or want to show a variety of options from a coffee spot to the beach, we can work out the details together.
Here’s some options to consider:
Home office or studio
Outdoors - park, beach
Co-working space
Local coffee spot, yoga studio
Clothes
This is one of the most common questions I am asked. In reality, keep it simple and comfortable and if you can, always have a few options so that you create some different looks which will give you a wider variety of looks for your website and social media content. Here are a few suggestions:
Client meeting
Your ‘usual’ working outfit, ie. yoga instructor in yoga gear etc
Casual
Special occasion
Props
Again, props are fantastic to include to provide you with a wider variety of uses for your photos across your website and social media. Here are some ideas to think about including:
Tech - mobile phone/laptop etc
Coffee cup
Flowers
Brand related props, ie yoga mat if you’re a yoga instructor etc
Books
Stories
This is an important one, think about HOW you’re going to use your photos, and where.
Here’s a couple of suggestions to get you started:
Behind the scenes
Interactions with your clients
Events
Team interactions
Launching your brand or a new product
Family/friends
Hopefully that has given you a few things to consider.
